Fresh school food. Real food education. Stronger school communities.
Grow Together.
Grow Together.
Food, Education, Community.
The humble building blocks of everything.
Delivered with poise, consideration and balance, these three ingredients form a perfect virtuous circle.
Good food helps children feel ready to learn. When children are better nourished, they are better equipped to focus, participate and make the most of their time at school.
That stronger foundation can support confidence, curiosity and better long-term outcomes. In time, children who feel healthy, capable and connected are better placed to contribute meaningfully to the communities around them.
Bloom Community Kitchen exists to help strengthen that cycle — using food as a foundation for learning, belonging and long-term positive impact.
Bloom is a new kind of school food offering, bringing together fresh, seasonal, high-quality meals, hands-on food education and real community engagement to help children build a lifelong positive relationship with food, all delivered with sustainability in mind.
Our balanced, nutritionist approved menus offer a step-change in quality and choice. Our curriculum-linked gardening and food education classes offer deep insight into where food comes from and how it is prepared. Our community outreach events afford us a deeper understanding of the families that we serve, allowing us to further refine our offer, further increasing uptake.
A simple, elegant cycle, from which we can all grow together.
We don’t just feed children, we help develop curiosity and confidence around food, and beyond.
Field-To-Fork Teaching
Food education that children can touch, taste and remember.
Bloom helps schools make food part of a wider culture of learning. Through growing, harvesting, preparing and cooking classes, children build confidence, practical skills and a stronger understanding of where food comes from.
School Community Kitchen
Food unites communities and has the power to create conversation, connection and belonging. Breaking bread has always bought people together, we use this simple premise to help school communities grow.
From fundraising events, tasting and feedback opportunities, cultural and themed food-led meet ups to community cooking classes and gardening events, we work with schools and parent/carer organisations to schedule a diverse calendar of food-based fun.
We see food as an opportunity to create connection - between children and ingredients, between lunch and learning and between schools and the families they serve.
